The Announcer Screen provides detailed information about the cars staged, on course, and the last car that finished. There are five panels, starting from the top shows the driver at Stage/Start. Below that is Next In, this would be the driver on course. In the case where you have multiple drivers on course at a time, this would be the next driver to finish. Stage/Start and Next In display the same information of the given driver. Finish displays the same and their current finish time with penalty. Announcments include an AI Announcer panel at the bottom of the window as guide for volunteer announcers to follow.
Located on the left side of the Announcer Screen are the Top Ten Raw and Top Ten Indexed drivers for the event.
Located on the bottom left is the Announcments AI Display. When a driver passes through finish, this Display will script, or "write out" the announcement, including the drivers position and weather they improved their best run or not.
Finish-Time will attempt to display the Announcer Screen upon start-up if there is a second monitor attached to the computer. To display the screen, select View > Announcer Screen from the menu bar.
When you navigate to any of the opened Function Panels, their associated Toolbar will appear at the top of the Application Window. Each of the Function Tabs are dismissible by clicking the Close widget on the Tab. This makes for an easy to use, uncluttered appearance. The Toolbar is also customizable, right-click anywhere over the Toolbar and choose Toolbar label options to your preference.
The Timing Function Panel is not dismissible.
